CCTC is accepting applications for pupillage from outstanding candidates regardless of background. We believe that the tax barristers profession is an important part of the constitutional checks and balances that protect civil rights and liberties from an enormously powerful government revenue collection authority; HMRC. The work we do is incredibly complex and intellectually demanding and as such it is suited to only the most outstanding practitioners.
In order to promote access to the tax bar by the most able candidates regardless of background, CCTC is offering a pupillage award of up to £100,000. Applicants will be considered at any career stage and applications should be sent by email to email@example.com marked for the attention of the Pupillage Secretary.
In memory of Sir Derek Oulton, who devoted his professional life to the service of the law, and his retirement to teaching law, CCTC is establishing and funding a scholarship in conjunction with Gray’s Inn. This will be a fully funded BVC scholarship. Further details will be added here in due course.
